Tranquility garden and board walk

A Tranquillity Garden along with a board walk have been created within Pebble Mill, to provide a peaceful, green open space where people can quietly sit, take time out and enjoy. The garden is just a stone’s through away from one of Birmingham’s major highways where 45,000 vehicles pass each day.

Part of Calthorpe Estates’ vision for Pebble Mill was to incorporate a unique and natural setting in a location where leading edge healthcare and medical services can flourish and people visiting, working or living locally can enjoy. With a desire to retain and improve a number of natural features within Pebble Mill, over 40,000 honey bees in two hives that have been added to the site. Bird boxes have also been installed to encourage nesting and planting across the scheme has made it a greener environment. There is a large amount of landscape setting around the plot developments that is rare in new development schemes.
